love this phone
I was hesitating between this 2024 edge and stylus. I chose edge for its light weight, metal frame, and wifi 6 support. Don't care much about 3.5mm audio and 256 G is enough for me no need extra sd card slot.
pros and cons:
1. This phone design definitely beats most phones in the market, probably also because I'm a big fan of edge screen. I change my phones a lot, almost need a new one for each year since I'm a phone breaker.. galaxy 20 was my favorite phone and now I feel this moto is even better. It uses a super thin but decent camera which I really like, while all the other manufactures are competing performance by putting large and heavy cameras. It feels comfortable and firm to hold for its width, weight, curved design and the leather back.
2. the battery is insane.
3. the auto app update notifications is annoying. I removed some of the useless apps during setups and a day later it notifies me to install them back. There are so many apps that you won't use at all but I should not complain too much since Samsung and lots of other brand phones do the same thing.
4. Don't think too much about finding screen protectors cause it's not designed well for curved screen. I changed lots of protectors while using my S20 before, and finally gave up trying. No case either cause no case is better than the leather back. Which means it is very fragile. but the 2-year updates doesn't support a long-term use either.
5. The performance is OK. if you investigate in the snapdragon 7s gen2, you will find that it is actually just an update version of snapdragon 6 gen1. I won't recommend it if your a gamer or video editor. But for all other usages it is good enough. I have no problems opening lots of apps, never see a noticeable delay. plus the 4nm 7s is very energy efficient which also enhances the battery life.
Overall, it's a great phone and I'm glad I got it from a good deal.

No need to pay seven or eight hundred dollars or more for a phone with excellent performance. This phone has it all. Awesome speed, abundant storage, and superb display. Not to mention, it just looks and feels great. You won't be disappointed.
Great phone
I moved from iPhone to the Moto Edge 2024 and am very happy about the change. The phone and the Android apps exceeded my expectations. Great battery life! High resolution screen. All in all, a good move.
I like it!
Im enjoying this phone so far. It seems to be quicker than my last phone (loading time, swiping, etc.), camera quality is better (no unpleasant pixelations), charging is faster (doesn't take long), idk what else to say. They probably should of added a charging block to go with the type C Cable, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't include that. Overall, this phone is better and faster, and I would say its worth purchasing it.

Is it expensive I depends on your situation. I was coming from a edge 2021 so I thought it was a fair price I need an upgrade so I bought this phone I have had no problems out of it and the battery last a long time (8hr screen time still at 20% battery) and charged fast the phone runs smooth and gets good service if your going to complain about the price wait till it goes on sale because with Motorola it will go on sale
My only complaint is how all these new phone are going to curved edge screens it makes I hard to press stuff on the edge in my opinion because with my job I have to use a case
Moto edge 2022
So in 2024 how is the edge 2022? It's still amazing, I love this phone just picked it up a few days ago wanted to get away from the iOS Eco and decided on this device. For the price of $170 it's great, battery life is amazing the feel of the device is good and just overall very pleased with the phone.
Even for 500$ its worth it
The snapdragon 7Sgen2 this phone has is as fluid as my s21 i replaced it with. in fact i put my s21 up side by side with this phone before i sold it and this phone won some times and s21 won some times. But also this is a new processor with new technology and new optimizations. it runs perfectly at 144 hz, 120 hz feels slower now. this phone runs 144hz Without SKipping. Even during setup i was worried it would stutter while it was installing all the apps for when you start a new phone and it didnt skip ONCE. you get 256GB of memory 8gb of ram beautiful o led display thats matches or beats Pixel 7 Pros curved display that i sold. camera is pretty good also. speakers are loud as hell. MOTOROLAS launcher is the BEST. Surprisingly good. get this phone and see. phones literally just as good as any mid ranger but is awesome. i think moto has the best ui now. super nice. Anyway literally this phone has worked literally flawlessly. and ive been looking for skips and have encountered none. only skipped during places flagships would skip. im telling you this is better then the pixel 7 pro experience and s21 i had after that. ALSO this phone is LIGHT. Pixel7 pro made me realise weight matters. this phone is light! BUY it
